Born into a real estate family Paul Nugent is one of Queensland’s most experienced and respected agents, a trusted adviser who has acted on behalf of large and small companies for whom honest and reliable advice is a prerequisite for the job.

Beginning his career studying valuation Paul opted instead to follow in the footsteps of his father Tom, a 55-year veteran of Queensland real estate and a former president of both the Real Estate Institute of Queensland and Australia.

He quickly established a reputation in the industrial, commercial and retail sphere, selling and leasing properties, across the full breadth of south-east Brisbane, later becoming a dominant player in childcare sales, leasing and management.

He has sold and leased properties on behalf of major corporates, including ANZ, and recently disposed of 10 flood-damaged properties through an Expression of Interest campaign for the Queensland Department of Public Works, achieving a price well beyond expectations. This latter sale was due to his impeccable connections to a diverse group of investors.

Though he made his name in the commercial sector Paul is equally at home in the residential sphere having sold houses across metropolitan Brisbane to the outer suburban fringes.

The key to Paul’s success, which includes the recent $38 million sale of a Brisbane CBD office block, is the strength of his network of contacts and a database built up over 30 years in the business.
